All orders must be paid in advance. A deposit will "hold" your order for as long as six months, but we must receive full payment before we ship your order.

Due to the high rates for shipping via commercial truck, shipping can add as much as 50% to the cost of your order.

You are always welcome to come to our warehouse and pick up your order with your own vehicle.

Terms of Sale
1. All damage or other claims must be reported to us within seven (7) days of receipt of goods or they will not be honored. Be sure to keep the original carton, because the shipper (carrier) will need to examine it. Damage claims must be made through the carrier. We will assist you in making such claims.
Claims that are accepted by Baliku Kayu will be for exchange only and will be subject to a re-stocking charge. Replacement (exchange) of damaged merchandise will be made after the carrier has examined the goods and the carton they were shipped in. We do not issue refunds.

2. Because all items are handmade, no two products will be exactly alike. Asymmetry and other irregularities are part of the uniqueness of the product and should not be construed as damage. Many consumers buy handicrafts because their uniqueness gives them "character".

3. All furniture is guaranteed for 90 days from date of shipment. Although bamboo furniture has a tendency to split, the cracking will not affect the strength or durability of the product.

4. The following special charges will be imposed whenever applicable:
Bounced Check Fee $20 for each occurrence Late Payment Fee $20 for each invoice Finance Charge 1.75% per month for balance outstanding more than 30 days after date on which customer receives goods. Re-stocking Charge 20% of invoice plus 100% of freight costs for returned orders.

5. You are buying from a small family business, not a large well-financed corporation. No returns. Damage claims must be made through the shipper. Splits in bamboo are normal and do not affect durability; the furniture will not fall apart and therefore can continue to provide safe enjoyment for years.
